Our
philosophy is to
have super premium red wines of exceptional distinction with
grapes grown exclusively on Kangaroo Island.
We have a very strong belief that low yields produce the best
wines. We have achieved yields of only about 2.75-3.0 tonnes/ha
in 1998, 2.5 tonnes/ha in 1999, and in 2000 when fruit set
was so poor right across the premium growing areas of South
Australia, 2 tonnes/ha.
